Collection: Series “Songs of the Future”. Graphics: Continuation of the “Life by the Fire” Collection

Birds fly through the smoke toward the light,
You gently, silently cry in your sleep,
A moment of silence.. in a flash, —
May peace dream upon you
and new,
colorful,
yet unwritten songs.

This is a quest for the leitmotif of something not yet existing, when you feel that a key, significant event is about to unfold.

It’s like the atmosphere before rain, the mood, the sensation. You already know—it’s about to pour! But not a single drop has fallen yet. And you see that first drop already flying… It’s in the air, and until it hits the ground, you can’t say the rain has started.

I truly miss new songs, both literally and metaphorically, like air, like oxygen. Not “museum” songs, but ones that truly express the world I want to live in. I feel they have already been written but have not yet manifested in this world.

The images of birds flying through the smoke toward the light, a child softly crying in their sleep, and a moment of silence between explosions… are real. This is the 21st century, Europe. Ukraine.

This series is part of the “Life by the Fire” collection, an artistic project created during the war in Ukraine.

My personal leitmotifs for this series are the pursuit of freedom, both personal and universal development, and the desire to live in a new, significantly more advanced society.
